In our 25th episode of the Madness Chronicles, we’ll take a look at the madness over President Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis. Remember, madness is a state of being mentally ill, severely, extremely foolish behavior, and a state of frenzied or chaotic activity. Let’s take a look at the Left’s vile reaction to the President’s diagnosis.
Twitter’s double standard was on full display. Twitter clearly states that ‘hoping that someone dies due to a serious disease’ is a violation, their terms of service and violators will be banned. Yet they allowed wishes of death against President Donald Trump from its verified leftist users to stay on the platform Friday morning after the President.
Zara Rahim tweeted, “It’s been against my moral identity to tweet this for the past four years, but, I hope he dies.” Rahim is a former national spokeswoman for Hillary Clinton’s campaign and Obama White House staffer. California congressional candidate Steve Cox tweeted, “I hope they both die.” When challenged by a follower who told Cox he was better than that, he replied, “No, I’m not. I hope they both die”.
Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista tweeted, “What’s really terrifying to me right now is that so many people who thought Trump was the fascist scourge of the earth yesterday are praying for him and wishing him a speedy recovery today.” He went on to say it would send the wrong message to people on the fence or even his supporters.
British Actor Dominic West told the audience on Good Morning Britain that he ‘leaped in the air with joy’ at the news President Donald Trump tested positive for the coronavirus. The volume of doom wishers prompted British talk show host Piers Morgan to respond. He said, “Interesting to see those who’ve spent the last few years screaming that Trump’s an uncaring, heartless empathy-devoid b*stard now spewing their gleeful joy that he & his wife have a deadly virus. They’re no better than the man they loathe.”
In the case of Leftist activist and Trump hater Michael Moore, he thinks the President is lying. In a Facebook rant, Moore claimed Trump was lying to postpone the election. He then said Trump wanted to get out of future debates and offer more theories of why the President wasn’t sick. In the end, he admitted he might be sick, and wanted him to stay alive so he can be held accountable for his gross mishandling of the coronavirus crisis.
Texas State Representative Gene Wu tweeted, “Hard to serve a prison sentence if you’re dead,” about President Trump’s coronavirus infection. He soon deleted the tweet. Wu then tweeted, “Currently, we are the only nation in the world that is actually safer with our commander in chief incapacitated.” Not done yet, he said, “If we’re taking extraordinary efforts to save Trump… why weren’t these efforts used to save more than 200,000 Americans?”
Iranian-American commentator Reza Aslan tweeted his response regarding the President. He said, “I hope Trump has a speedy recovery and lives a long life so that he can be humiliated at the polls, see his empire of greed crumble, be sued for rape, arrested for tax fraud, and watch as history condemns him as the worst president, the worst human in American history.”
You truly can’t make this stuff up. We live in unprecedented times in America and the world. The madness we are experiencing unequaled.
May we wake from this madness before it’s too late. I wish you good health, and until next time, have fun, enjoy life, and watch out for the madness amongst us. It’s 2020, and it’s getting out of hand.
